Day 25, Catham to Montreal

And the winner of the "Best Road Bike Quality" competition is....BC/Vancouver! But Quebec/Montreal was close. Really. Even had a lead for some time. Then came Montreal. I mean it has nice bike paths for sure, but the ones I took were below Manitoba standards. And that is low. But other then those roads the ride was uneventful, nice, pleasant, calm and also the last riding day of the trip in Canada. Which is somewhat sad, but the trip goes on, and I'm going to materialize my childhood dream. And that is the Paris-Veszprem (my hometown, google it, it's worth it) bike ride. I don't really have plans, and since this hostel I'm staying has no wifi connection really, the real planning will be done in Paris. Or on the road. As it comes. 

Tomorrow I'll check out Montreal, and I have to arrange couple of things for the flight. Summary will come, probably on the plane.

A "Legjobb Biciklis Út" verseny gyôztese...Brit Kolumbia és Vancouver! De Quebec is közel volt, csak azok a fránya montreáli utak. Biztos a hideg...meg a hômérséklet különbség...de attól még pocsékak. Eddig. Megváltozhat talán holnap, de eddig azt hittem szétrázódik a bicikli így a kanadai rész végén. Montreálig egészen rendben voltak az utak pedig, valószínüleg itt is nagyon sok a sima útszakasz amiken még nem jártam. Az út egyébként szép volt, semmi hanyattvágós környezet, de csendes, hangulatos folyó partszakasz, a már európai kis falvak hangulatát idézô utcák és települések, igazán kellemes kis könnyed túra. Voltak dombocskák is, fôleg lábizom emlékeztetônek, hogy azért még kelleni fognak. És meg kell említenem a rengeteg biciklistát, akiknek zöme szerintem valamikyen eseményre edz...holnap kicsit bejárom Montreált, talán erre is választ kapok.
