Day 38, Linz to Krems

Sometimes things just happen accidentally and in a good way. After yesterday long ride I just wanted to see how far I can ho towards Vienna and stop wherever I feel like stopping. And after 145km I found a nice little town and a campground. Which turned to be the best so far. Clean and neat but not too hygienic, has everything, close to the Danube, nice view, receptionist lady speaks English, food shower and even wifi. What a place! 

The ride was very similar to that of yesterday's. The Danube bike path is really a bike path. There are even washrooms on the way. Lots of little villages all trying to convince bikers to stop there with small guest houses, restaurants, campgrounds. And there are a lot of bikers. And I met a Canadian, who happened to ride to the other direction but we chatted a little bit. He is doing an Istanbul-London trip and had finished an African ride on the winter. I hope he'll enjoy Europe and best of luck to him!

And after thirty something riding day I have to tell, if there is a nice ride day, the wind always become strong headwind after the first 130km. Just so when you feel strong and ready for hitting the 200 again it punches. Ok I didn't plan 200 today especially after the wind got stronger. So Vienna tomorrow, unfortunately I am just going through, but still. It is Vienna!

Valamikor véletlenül is kijönnek a dolgok. Mint ma. A tegnapi roham utan ma csak addig akartam tekerni ameddig nem túl fárasztó (félreèrtések elkerülése érdekében szeretném kihangsúlyozni, hogy tekeréstôl függôen pár száz méter is kimerítô lehet), és gondoltam csak találok valami kempinget. Eddig a Duna-menti biciklis út felülmúlta a várakozásaimat. Minden faluban majdnem publikus mosdók (ingyen !!), vendég csalogató éttermek, panziók és kempingek. Meg szebbnél szebb apró parkok. És persze elbûvölô panoráma végig. Összefutottam egy kanadaival is, leültünk kicsit beszélgetni. Isztambulból teker Londonba. Télen pedig Afrikát szelte át. Na, neki biztos lehetett oka panaszkodni (bár az afrika-túrát csoporttal csinálta, de attól még...). Most meg itt ülök az eddigi legjobb kempingben, Duna part, nagyon jó tusoló (roopant fontos szempont) és még wifi is. 

Az persze tény, hogy ha minden rendben megy az úton akkor az utolsó 14km-t mindenképpen erôs szembeszélben kell letekerni, de ez a SZABÁLY...

Holnap Bécs, bár csak átfutom, mostantól mondjuk kapkodnom nem kell. Talán megállok egy kávéra...
