Epic ride. Battle with the wind. Looking the pavement couple of meters ahead. Stopping every 10-15km. Long story short, today's ride was the most difficult one on this trip, and funnily also had the least elevation change. Good thing I started earlier, which meant really cold first couple of hours though...I didn't have energy for some reason but maybe psychologically I knew I would have to fight with the wind and it gave me a "nice" emotional foundation...at the end somehow I made it to Broadview, but if the wind won't change tomorrow I may not reach my next destination, although I hope I'll cope with the weather again. Fighting with sidewind and headwind is certainly not the best way to spend a day, but the real motivation is the decreasing distance between me an Winnipeg.

Ma leginkább szívás volt. Egész nap. Elsôsorban az aszfaltot néztem magam elött, meg a visszapillantó tükröt, mert az oldalszélnek van egy sajátos tulajdonsága ha jön egy kamion. Hirtelen eláll...aztán elkezdi megint de a kamion után ugye még örvényben...így nem elég, hogy sokszor szembeszél van, de ha oldalról jön, rengeteg energia megy el csak az egyensùlyban tartásra. És ez ment ma 155km-en keresztül. Azt hiszem kijelenthetem, hogy ez volt a legnehezebb szakaszom eddig és lehet ez így megy még 2-3 napig még. Reggel még hideg is volt, így kabátban kezdtem, amit aztán hanyagul levettem mikor 17 fok körülig emelkedett a hômérséklet, ezzel csökkentve a légellenállási tényezôt. Ugyan egyáltalán nem segített, de legalább megpróbáltam. Persze valahogy mégiscsak elértem a célom, bár én csodálkozom rajta. Holnap remélem a legjobbakat idôjárás ügyileg, aztán kiderül meddig jutok.
